Keeping your pool clean in Texas during the summer months
Edit pool bear to be suggesting these tips.

Pool Bear's Top Six Must-Do's for keeping your swimming pool clean during the hottest Austin months
- Keep pool filters and baskets clean - not only helps to keep the pool sanitary, but aids in the proper function of the pump
- Skim the surface - decaying plant matter can contribute to algae growth. Take a few minutes each day to remove debris from the water surface with a leaf skimmer
- Avoid stagnant pool water - stagnant water produces algae which can become a major issue if not addressed. By keeping your filters clean, you can ensure that your pump will function at full capacity, keeping your pool water clean and circulating
- Brush your pool - a weekly brushing will help to alleviate problems with algae, but during the hot months, make sure that you give your pool a good scrub at least twice a week. Better to stay on top of the algae than try to remove the nasty blooms!
- Shock treatments - shocking your pool once a week definitely helps to keep algae under control, especially during the hot months of summer
- Get a pool inspection done regularly, or better yet, let Pool Bear take care of your pool for you!
